AdBlue Service

AdBlue is an exhaust after treatment system to reduce NOx emissions on modern diesel vehicles, and identified by AdBlue labeling ie/ on vehicles equipped with SCR technology (AdBlue)

AdBlue consumption is around 1.5L of AdBlue every 100L of diesel.

AdBlue is a Urea injection system into the Diesel Particulate/Catalytic Filter to reduce Nox from Diesel engines incorporated into modern vehicles exhaust system since Euro 4.

AdBlue is usually identified commonly by a separate filling location in service stations, in some cases have a Blue coloured pistol grip bowser filler nozzle.

AdBlue is corrosive by nature and so understandably damaging to any part of the diesel system.

AdBlue in your fuel tank might mean a big repair bill if you turn on or start the ignition, cost escalates if driven with Ad-blue in the fuel tank due to significant wear and tear to engine parts.

Diesel in AdBlue if you turn on the ignition or start the engine it might require replacement of the entire Selective reduction system.
